Tiranga flag price in India in 2026 starts from around ₹25 per flag for polyester and goes up to ₹450 or more for large khadi flags. The exact price depends on size, fabric, quantity and certification. Below is a full price guide for buying tiranga flags online in India, useful whether you're buying one flag for your balcony or ordering in bulk for Har Ghar Tiranga 2026 and Independence Day.
Tiranga flag price by size, 2026
Size is the single biggest factor in what a tiranga flag costs. Here are the standard IS 1 certified sizes and what they typically run.
- 2x3 ft. The most popular size for home balconies and windows. Usually ₹25 to ₹80 per flag depending on fabric and quantity.
- 3x4.5 ft. A common choice for gates, rooftops and small flagpoles. Usually ₹45 to ₹150 per flag.
- 4x6 ft. The size most offices, schools and government buildings order. Usually ₹80 to ₹250 per flag.
- 6x9 ft. A larger outdoor flag for high masts and prominent display. Usually ₹150 to ₹450 per flag.
- 9x13.5 ft. For large flagpoles and public buildings. Usually ₹350 to ₹900 per flag.
12x18 ft. and larger. For monumental display, high mast poles and landmark installations. Contact us directly for custom pricing on these.
For orders of 50 pieces or more, we offer meaningful discounts across every size. Call or WhatsApp us at +91 98113 04329 for institutional and bulk pricing.
Tiranga flag price by fabric, 2026
Fabric changes the price almost as much as size does.
Polyester is the most affordable and widely used option. It's UV resistant, dries quickly after rain, and holds up for six to twelve months outdoors, which makes it the natural choice for Har Ghar Tiranga and Independence Day display.
Khadi costs more than polyester because it's hand spun and hand woven, as the Flag Code of India requires for certain official uses. Government offices and embassies tend to prefer khadi.
Satin is lighter and has a noticeable sheen, which suits indoor ceremonial display, VIP rooms and formal indoor settings. It sits between polyester and khadi on price.
Har Ghar Tiranga flag price for 2026
For the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in 2026, running from August 9 to 15, the government recommends standard polyester tiranga flags in 2x3 ft or 3x4.5 ft, IS 1 certified and sourced from authorised manufacturers, displayed at home, on the gate, rooftop or window.
Our Har Ghar Tiranga flag price starts from ₹25 per flag for 2x3 ft polyester when bought in bulk. Individual flags are also available, just get in touch for current pricing.
BIS is revising the national flag standard, and what that means for pricing
In August 2026, the Bureau of Indian Standards confirmed it is revising IS 1, the specification governing the Indian National Flag, for the first time since 1968. The revision is expected to allow much larger flags, up to 9,000mm by 6,000mm, for use at expos, international events and large public installations. It will also update the colour measurement norms used to certify a flag as compliant.
For buyers this matters in two ways. It may open up new large format sizes beyond what's currently standard, and our 12x18 ft plus monumental range already serves this segment. And once the revision is finalised, certified manufacturers will need to re-verify their flags against the updated colour norms. We're tracking this closely and will update our own IS certification documentation as soon as BIS publishes the finalised standard.

IS certified tiranga flag price versus non certified
Plenty of sellers online offer tiranga flags at ₹5 to ₹10 each. Here's why that price should make you pause.
These flags usually aren't IS 1 certified, meaning they don't meet the legal standard for the Indian National Flag. The Ashoka Chakra may have the wrong number of spokes, the colour proportions can be off, and the width to length ratio may not be the required 2 to 3.
Using a non certified flag for official or institutional display can be a violation of the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971, which carries penalties including imprisonment.
IS certified tiranga flags from us cost a bit more than uncertified ones, but they're legally compliant, correctly made, and built to actually last a season outdoors.

Tiranga table flag price
Table flags, the small ones on a desktop stand for office desks, conference tables and reception areas, are priced separately from hoisting flags.
- 4x6 inch table flag with plastic stand, ₹45 to ₹80 per set.
- 4x6 inch table flag with brass stand, ₹120 to ₹200 per set.
- 6x9 inch table flag with chrome stand, ₹180 to ₹280 per set.
Minimum order for table flags is 10 sets. These work well for offices, government departments, embassies and conference rooms.
Where to buy an IS certified tiranga flag online in India
Before you buy, check a few things. Ask the seller for IS 1 certification documentation. Measure the flag, the width to length ratio should be exactly 2 to 3. Count the spokes on the Ashoka Chakra, there should be 24. Check the colours match the official saffron, white and India green. And buy from a direct manufacturer rather than a trader or marketplace reseller.
We're an IS and ISO certified flag manufacturer based in Connaught Place, New Delhi, and every tiranga flag we sell is made in house at our 10,000 sq ft Delhi facility.
